Who we are
Holdengard is an information and community platform. You can contact us at advisory@holdengard.com.
What you give us
When you use a form (contact, community join, waitlist, guide download, opportunity unlock, off-market request, agent enquiry or newsletter), we receive what you type: your name, email, and, depending on the form, phone number, role, market, budget and message. We use it to reply to you, to send what you asked for and to run the community. We do not sell it.
Where it goes
Each submission is emailed to the Holdengard team and saved as a backup line in a private folder on our web server that is not reachable from the web. We keep a hashed (not readable) form of your network address only to limit abuse. The retention period for these records is to be set. Ask us and we will delete your record.
The tools run in your browser
The Property Lab, NRI Total Cost Calculator, Rent vs Buy and RERA 5-Check do their sums on your device. Numbers you type are not sent to us. If you choose to save a comparison, it is stored in your browser (local storage) on your own device and nowhere else. A shared link contains your inputs in its address, so share it only if you are happy for the recipient to see them.
Cookies and analytics
Essential. We set one small cookie, hg_k, only after you unlock an opportunity, download a guide or join the community. It records that you have done so on this device, for 180 days, so you are not asked again. It contains a hashed value, not your email address.
Analytics and advertising (only if you accept). When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Until you press Accept, no analytics or advertising script is loaded and no analytics or advertising cookie is set. We remember your choice in a cookie called hg_consent for 180 days. If you accept, we load:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google), which sets cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to count visits and see which pages and tools are used.
The events we record are: a page view, a completed form (we record that a form of a given type was sent, not what you typed), unlocking an opportunity, and use of the four tools (starting, viewing the result, changing a scenario or creating a share link). We do not send the numbers you enter in a tool, your name, your email or your message to these providers. These providers receive your IP address and browser details when their scripts run, and process them under their own policies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. Declining, or later withdrawing, removes the analytics cookies we can reach and stops the scripts.
Third parties
This site links to no other websites except WhatsApp, which opens only if you choose to start a chat, and our own company profiles (Facebook and LinkedIn), shown as icons in the footer. They open in a new tab only if you click them. WhatsApp and those networks handle your use of them under their own policies.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to advisory@holdengard.com.
